Responsible for payroll and benefit management as well as supervising Human Resource (HR) Coordinators. The HR Manager directly oversees HR compliance and personnel files while building and monitoring employee perceptions and experiences.

Description

  • Manages all weekly payroll functions in compliance
  • Manages benefit enrollment for field and administrative employees in compliance with IPI, state, federal, and CHAP regulations
  • Supervises Human Resource Coordinators and all Human Resource compliance
  • Responsible for personnel records, ensuring that they are accurate, complete, confidential, and follow all necessary regulations
  • Drafts communication to staff regarding payroll and benefits and works with the Vice President of Patient and Employee Relations, Director and Assistant Director of Clinical Services, Director of Corporate Compliance, and Healthcare Liaison, Quality Assurance, and Finance staff as necessary to ensure coordination, understanding and professionalism
  • Assists the Director of Finance in the preparation of reports
  • Gathers, collates, and reports key statistics through the effective utilization of information systems
  • Onboards new administrative hires and oversees onboarding of field employees.
  • Evaluates the cost-effectiveness of the implementation of various HR decisions and reports all concerns to the Vice President of Patient and Employee Relations and other staff as necessary
  • Provides suggestions related to strategic human resource planning and allocation for improved fiscal and organizational viability
  • Manages payroll practices and assures compliance with state and federal regulations, including wages, salaries and benefit regulations
  • Other duties as requested and as required to fully perform the position

Profile

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree; HR certification preferred
  • At least two (2) years experience in payroll and benefit management
  • Knowledge of HR, financial, and clinical documentation information systems required
  • Knowledge of Paylocity, CareerPlug, and/or KanTime a plus
  • Solid skills for supervision, team-building, and communication
  • Knowledge of corporate business management, governmental regulations
