Job Overview

We are seeking a Contracts Specialist responsible for contract administration including reviewing contract and subcontract agreements with the DoD, contract compliance, and contract closeout. This role will support surge and ad-hoc contract management activities including pricing, proposal support, and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact and official corporate representative for all client's contractual and sub-contract matters Negotiates non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontract agreements in accordance with business needs and company policy. Ensures the proper clauses are flowed down to all subcontracts Maintains contractual documents and records on electronic repositories Maintains a thorough understanding of contractual requirements, and communicates those requirements to the Program Manager and relevant internal stakeholders. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure successful contract setup, execution, and compliance Facilitates contract modifications with the Federal government and subcontractors. Updates the accounting system accordingly Issues subcontract modifications Completes company representations and certifications, maintaining those records Collects Insurance Certifications from subcontractors and ascertains compliance to contract requirements Maintain and report all sub-awards over $25,000 in the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act Sub-award Report System (FSRS) Record and maintain all government awards and sub-contracts in the GSA/CPRM Portal except CAF reporting and payment Establish and maintain excellent internal and external customer relations at all levels of the organization, acting as liaison for all proposal or contract matters, and communicating the status of open contract matters frequently with program managers, technical staff, accounting, and senior leadership Actively contributes to the success of the team through the completion of assigned special projects Qualifications

10+ years of experience with BS/BA degree; 8+ years of experience with MA/MBA Must have experience in the GovCon (Government Contracting) Industry Must have prior experience working as a Contracts Manager for Federal contracts within a government contracting company Knowledge of government contracting including negotiated procurement, contract law, contract administration, cost and price analysis, and proposal preparation Must have experience with all contract types, a working knowledge of the FAR/DFAR, and a solid working knowledge of and experience with Federal acquisition practices Ability to recognize, interpret, and apply applicable regulations to resolve proposal and contract issues Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues, management, and executives Advanced skills in all MS Office Suite programs
