Senior Lakehouse Engineer
Aquinas Consulting is looking to fill a Senior Lakehouse Engineer Job in New Haven County, CT. In this position, you will be tasked with designing, developing, testing, and deploying data vault models, Snowflake SQL, Snowflake data views. You must have strong skills in SQL and cloud technologies. This job also requires you to have a degree in computer science, information systems, or any related fields.
Senior Lakehouse Engineer Job Responsibilities:
Lead Lakehouse projects related to Snowflake and Data Vault modeling.
Well-versed in Snowflake's unique features, like its handling of data and its approach to data sharing and security.
Support the design of current and future Lakehouse solutions, including overall design, technology stacks, data vault modeling methodology, data movement, and testing.
Designs, develops and test data models, including domain data models, MDM, data lakes, data vaults and modeling supporting various operational requirements.
Job Qualifications:
10-15 years related work experience in the design and development of database management systems.
BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Working knowledge of data security frameworks, data quality frameworks, metadata management and data catalogs, and data governance frameworks.
Experience in developing and delivery initiatives including the internal development of EB&IM tools.
Database and application development experience in relational databases i.e. Snowflake and cloud technologies
