We are a corporation of 35,000 employees with operations in more than 35 countries.The Area Project Controls Manager is responsible for leading and managing the project controls functions including planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management across all projects within the designated area. This role ensures the implementation of best practices, tools, and processes to achieve project objectives, aligning with company strategies and standards. The successful candidate will provide critical support to project teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement project controls strategies and plans for the area, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards.Oversee the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control processes across multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Provide leadership and guidance to project controls teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Collaborate with branch/project managers and other stakeholders to establish project objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.Monitor and report on project performance, identifying variances from the plan and recommending corrective actions as necessary.Implement risk management processes and strategies across projects, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in project execution and controls.Lead the development and maintenance of project controls systems and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and projects.Facilitate training and development opportunities for project controls staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.Participate in project reviews and audits, providing expert advice and insights on project controls matters.Monitor and control processes for Billing, Payroll, Purchasing, and OH SpendingManage execution of tag logs, rental counters, and provide analytical support towards project rental models.Monitor and control past due A/RProvide oversight and direction on invoice validations, customer pay app compliance, and customer billing justifications.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
