* Significant experience required in Manufacturing Plant and Complex Accounting experience, including supervisory experience to manage a team of accountants and/or a complex process that interacts with multiple individuals outside of the department. Knowledge and experience of Finance systems and tools - Oracle, Bolt, JDE, Planful, HFM would be great.
* Performing and/or overseeing highly specialized accounting work required to maintain the company's general ledger, resolving complex accounting issues resulting from routine and non-routine accounting transactions.
* Reviews general ledger entries, account reconciliations, internal and external reports, schedules and statements.
* Reviews existing internal controls on a regular basis and develops new internal controls as necessary and Implements new accounting standards.
* Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures. (Important)
* Experience with JD Edwards and Planful is a plus

Gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions.

*Education/Experience*:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification required.

At least 8-10 years accounting manager/plant controller experience in manufacturing industry.

* Bachelors degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
* 8-10 years financial and/or accounting experience required Responsibility level
* Exercises independent judgment with little to no direction from supervis or Skills
* Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking (Required)
* Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time (Required)
* Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses (Typically required)
* Strong knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data (Typically required)
* Strong knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting (Required)
* Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software (Required)

*Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:*
Include analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
* Direct the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses, that summarize and forecast the organizations financial position
* Prepare special reports required by regulatory authorities
* Direct the organizations budgets to meet its financial goals
* Oversee the investment of funds, manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities,
* Execute capital-raising strategies to support a firms expansion,
* Oversee the firms issuance of credit, establishing credit-rating criteria, determining credit ceilings, and monitoring the collections of past-due accounts
