**The Opportunity**

The Sr. Analyst, ASC Contracting is responsible for contract drafting, negotiation, and execution of Allys ASC Contracting. The Sr. Analyst, ASC Contracting will work closely with the Ally Sourcing teams, business customers, and stakeholders to document and negotiate all aspects of a procurement deal to ensure the best outcome for Ally and mitigate company risk effectively and efficiently.

The Sr. Analyst, ASC Contracting reports directly to the Director, ASC Contracting, and supports the contract creation, negotiation, and execution of contracts within defined categories. The Sr. Analyst, ASC Contracting meticulously reviews and negotiates contract terms and conditions, ensuring favorable outcomes and compliance with legal requirements and policies. Additionally, the Sr. Analyst, ASC Contracting advises internal business customers on innovative approaches to fulfill contractual obligations, staying updated on changes in rules, regulations and industry standards that could impact the provision of services.

**The Work Itself**

* Draft and negotiate favorable terms and contracts to secure the best value and reliability for the company.

* Work closely with legal and other risk departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as company policies and established precedents; ensure contract provisions can be delivered while maximizing the value to Ally.

* Lead the drafting and negotiation of complex agreements with a variety of critical suppliers.

* Maintain deep understanding of Ally contracts terms and conditions and key deliverables contained in the contract.

* Identify and mitigate potential risks related to services contracting.

* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ethical contracting practices, and corporate policies during the procurement process.

* Communicate effectively with stakeholders within a cross-functional organization to explain contract terms and answer questions about specific contract provisions.

* Support initiatives to improve processes and templates for ASC Contracting.

* Develops a strong working relationship with various customers, suppliers, and internal departments, and obtains a thorough functional knowledge of the organization, performance measures, and information flows to help optimize contracting solutions.

* Be agile and nimble, to effectively cope with and drive change; comfortably assesses risk and problem solve.

**The Skills You Bring**

* J.D. Required

* Bachelors degree and a minimum of 3+ years experience in contract negotiations.

* Experience working with a variety of contract types (e.g., NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Software as a Service Agreements, etc.)

* Understanding of contracting standards and best practices, including contract lifecycle management, contract law and legal terminology.

* Comfortable with risk profiles of a broad range of commodities, including services, marketing, finance, credit bureaus, and technology.

* Knowledge of contracting practices specific to financial services preferred.

* Ability to articulate legal risk to business customers and team Analysts.

* Strong communication, collaboration and partnering skills.

* Ability to prioritize projects and coordinate multiple tasks within time constraints.
