Job DescriptionAs a Sales Associate you provide customers with a unique shopping experience by offering excellent customer service. Ensure timely assistance, gift-packaging of purchases to meet visual standards and to exceed customer expectations (within timeliness standards) Engage in multiple clients and create a positive lasting impression by offering personalized service Affirm the client's purchase and offer additional merchandise suggestions Promote all the services that build lasting client relationships and drive sales (in-Store/in-Home Consultations, Registry, Credit card, Clienteling) Assist the sales team in providing personalized service Assist sales team in providing personalized service; store client purchase at cash wrap, process holds, locate merchandise, etc. Maintain visual standards and supplies of the gift wrap and cash wrap area Why you will love working at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Associates must be available for annual inventory and entire holiday season (November and December) *Example: Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday) If preferred, an associate can also choose to have all three shifts of availability on the weekend (Friday to Sunday) and none during the week (Monday to Thursday) Physical Requirements: Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time Availability to meet the Seasonal needs of the business. Associates must be available for annual inventory and entire holiday season.
