How You'll Create Possibilities

Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to identify, develop, and launch design improvements. Collaborate with professionals from diverse backgrounds to enhance cost efficiency, product quality, performance, and features. Take ownership of the end-to-end design process for gas and electric cooking products, leading a team to create cutting-edge solutions that enhance features, reduce costs, elevate quality, and optimize performance. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance existing products and processes for improved efficiency, user experience, and overall customer satisfaction. Create detailed prototypes to showcase design improvements and demonstrate feasibility, actively engaging in hands-on prototyping activities. Develop and execute comprehensive evaluation plans to demonstrate the performance of design improvements, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements. Apply Six Sigma tools and Lean manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and eliminate waste in the development of new designs. Oversee reliability and performance testing, adhering to agency standards (UL/CSA/ANSI) and internal GEA requirements, to guarantee safety, quality, and reliability. Provide timely engineering solutions to challenges during the development process, proactively addressing issues and ensuring seamless progression. What You'll Bring to Our Team

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 3 years of design experience in consumer products or a comparable industry. Experience in the appliance industry. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Design for Manufacturing principles. Our Culture
