Job Description:
The Manager is expected to support the Customer Billing Mission Statement. This role will need to acquire Subject matter expertise with a thorough understanding of complex business concepts, products, and business rules (e.g. fee agreements, pricing requirements). Under the supervision of the Customer Billing Leadership, the Manager is expected to contribute/lead projects and BAU activities in support of process improvements, process and control procedural documentation and measurements.
Contribute and or lead process efficiencies by identifying root cause issues for pain points, measure process performance, solution to address prioritized issues, identify improvements, using Lean Six Sigma to increase efficiency and reduce low value-added tasks.
Oversee the delivery of invoices in a timely and accurate manner whilst meeting revenue control requirements (monitoring to be done via KPI measurements on a daily/weekly/monthly ad-hoc basis).
Contribute to the building, maintenance and operation of a sustainable modern pricing, quoting & billing infrastructure.
Create and maintain process and control documentation, dashboards and reports. Work to ensure accuracy of underlying data.
Ensure that the team is meeting internal policy and procedure requirements by being aware of the key controls, risks and compensating controls within respective process flows and identify changes in the operating and internal controls environment. Monitor all control processes to ensure he/she are operating as intended.
Develop and communicate the teams goals at the individual level for Analysts. Monitor progress regularly, focus on compliance and revise/document any changes in scope when needed.
Support the rollout of new and revised business processes by assisting in the review and revision of Operational Guidelines, metrics and controls.
Build, maintain and leverage excellent relationships with internal stakeholders, with particular emphasis on our Internal Customers.
Participate in and coordinate activities regionally in support of ad hoc projects.
Represent the Customer Billing team in internal meetings where applicable.
Assume ownership of specific process(s) ; lead , execute, and maintain.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business discipline.
4+ years experience performing in an Accounting, Auditing or Billing environment required.
Thinks critically and exercises sound judgment and is able to articulate their own views.
Fully explores problems and/or opportunities and provides solutions proactively.
Focuses on results with a sense of urgency.
Proven ability to overcome obstacles and bring issues to closure.
Demonstrated ability to effectively compile and compare disparate pieces of information to support decision-making.
Completes work tasks efficiently and effectively, adjusts quickly to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change. Demonstrates resilience in the face of adversity.
