Monitor shipments to ensure goods arrive on time. Verify invoice/PO discrepancies and resolve differences to authorize payment. Resolve cost, quality, lead-time, packaging and other purchasing related issues with supplier. Issue and track credit requests for vendor shortages, damages and backorders. Build and maintain positive, long-term supplier relations. Maintain vendor and item records in online system. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly self-motivated. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong time-management, multi-tasking and organizational skills. Keen attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and all levels of employees. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, proficient in other Office applications and the ability to become proficient in any systems used at Welborn. Posting and finalizing customer invoices. Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Communicate professionally with clients regarding billing inquiries. Maintain organized records and generate reports. Other job duties as assigned by your leader. Qualifications: 1-3 years of Purchasing Experience Required, Basic Accounting Experience a plus Proficiency in MS Excel and Sage Intact a plus 18+ years of age Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines Work Behavior: Ability to perform work duties from a limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
