Responsibilities:
  • Sales Tax Processing & Reporting:
    • Reconcile and process state and local monthly, quarterly, occasional, and annual sales and use tax returns for sales across 36+ states, ensuring timely filing.
    • Assist with generating financial reports, dashboards, and analytics within the ERP system to provide management with insights.
  • Sales Tax Research & Analysis:
    • Partner with the sales tax team to research ongoing projects involving daily research of sales and use tax laws.
    • Analyze data to support internal and external customer requests for sales tax refunds and credits.
  • Compliance & Accuracy:
    • Ensure compliance with all sales tax regulations.
    • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Qualifications:
  • An understanding of sales tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Navision or Business Central.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
