Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) is a global semiconductor leader that bridges the physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge. ADI combines analog, digital, and software technologies into solutions that help drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect humans and the world. With revenue of more than $12 billion in FY22 and approximately 25,000 people globally working alongside 125,000 global customers, ADI ensures today's innovators stay Ahead of What's Possible.

Job Description:

ADI's Advanced Process Technology Group has an opening for an engineer working on the development of Wide-Band-Gap (WBG) and Ultra Wide-Band-Gap (UWBG) electronic devices. The Advanced Process Technology Group is in ADI's CTO organization and is responsible for developing ADI's roadmaps for semiconductor processes. The job will focus on the development of next-generation Gallium Nitride and Aluminum Gallium Nitride FET technology. The engineer will be responsible for designing and executing process development experiments in a silicon fab. The work will involve unit and module process development, process flow design and simulation, process flow implementation in the Manufacturing Execution System, and the design experiments and execution of experiments to improve device performance. The role will include significant hands-on lot management both inside and outside of the manufacturing facility. It could also involve a wide variety of related topics: research and development of next-generation RF and power devices, WBG device characterization and reliability testing, construction of new measurement systems for WBG devices, discussion with internal business units to understand future device needs, interaction with manufacturing teams to define manufacturing strategies, and working with business strategists to understand the business impact of new process directions. The job will require staying at the fore-front of WBG and UWBG device technology by connecting with University research projects, and attending conferences.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Science is required. A Master's or Ph.D. Degree is preferred. Significant experience with Gallium Nitride and/or Aluminum Gallium Nitride device fabrication is highly desired. The candidate should be familiar with semiconductor device physics and fabrication. Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
