The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the budgeting, financial planning, reporting and forecasting processes. This position works directly with financial leadership and the individual business units of the Company to ensure accuracy and standardization of the Company's financial forecasts, reports and budgets. Analyzes operational and financial data/metrics in order to provide insightful analysis to drive management actions.

We are currently looking for a:

Senior Financial Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manage the financial forecasting process.
  • Develop and maintain budget templates/tools for parks to use during the annual budget process.
  • Produce clear, well-formatted reports in a concise, yet understandable manner for various audiences.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results and variances to forecast, budget and PY to department heads and executive management team.
  • Analyze business results, KPI's and overall business trends against budget to deliver actionable recommendations to our leadership team.
  • Support monthly close process which includes summarizing and consolidating results versus budget forecast and prior year, and providing commentary on variances.
  • Validate all financial reports for accuracy and reasonableness. Assist in the monthly financial reviews for the individual business units.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and other duties as necessary to support the team.
  • Research, prepare, and execute departmental initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or company improvements, as required.
  • Assist in the process of standardizing accounting criteria followed by all parks.
  • Analyze the performance of the parks on a weekly basis and compile explanations to variances.
Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.

Languages: Fluent English

  • Project/Program Management: Understand and manage projects and programs from concept to completion. Develop and achieve strategic objectives, plans and time schedules; organize and manage competing priorities, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to detail
  • Flexibility - Handle multiple priorities simultaneously; maintain a flexible work schedule to meet changing demands for multiple concurrent projects
  • Initiative and Adaptability - Take initiative and execute plans to accomplish strategic objectives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Computer Proficiency - MS Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, and Business intelligence tools
Experience: 3+ years experience in corporate finance department within a Budgeting or FP&A function. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and understanding of financial statements.

Other: Proficiency with MS Power BI and Workday ERP are a plus.

Internal: Vice presidents, COO, other members of executive management team and Corporate Management control department. Key members of the HQ team and park managers

External: Auditors
