Description

POSITION: Financial Analyst - AIMSS (Contingent Upon Contract Award

Location: Huntsville, AL

Clearance: Secret

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide financial analysis support for the Missile Defense Agency
  • Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports to program management and government customers
  • Track expenses and revenues in comparison to the established budget; reforecast and analyze trends
  • Coordinate financial questions/answers among program management, CFO, and contract staff
  • Develop and maintain accurate budget and forecasting data and reports
  • Develop and maintain accurate CLIN, BOM, labor category, charge code, timecard, expense and other associated data in accordance with data and tool standards
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the program as needed
  • Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Business required
  • Minimum of 5-years' experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis.
  • Experience supporting federal contracts required
  • Current Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and calculations;
  • Experience with cost estimating and forecasting;
  • Familiarity and experience with large government programs is desired;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities;
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience operating in complex professional environments with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across multiple organizations;
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in support of customer requirements;
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication and presentation skills;
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary, confidential and classified information;
  • Strong experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Intuit, or other major financial software
