Pay Rate: $19 per hour, dependent on experience
Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm (Overtime may extend end time to 12:30 am)
Position Type: Temp to Full-Time

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This role involves performing repetitive mechanical assembly tasks with precision and maintaining the pace and quality of assembly work.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
•Follow all workplace safety and product quality guidelines.
•Complete all site-specific training related to safety and quality.
•Receive components or items for assembly and/or testing in a programmed sequence.
•Assemble and/or test mechanical or electrical components using precise hand and equipment coordination.
•Assemble minor variations of standard in-house products.
•Follow clear assembly/test instructions, including color coding, PVC thermal welding, and thread taping.
•Use simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
•Enter work hours into the ERP system (Currently SAP).
•Complete required documentation related to production.
•Drive continuous improvement processes and conduct daily housekeeping/5S audits.
•Read and understand simple layout and assembly drawings.
•Maintain equipment and area in a clean, safe condition.
•Address internal and external customer needs and expectations.

Position Requirements:
•Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
•Knowledge & Experience: Mechanical aptitude as evidenced by work experience, high school/tech school coursework, hobbies, etc.

Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
•Must be able to walk, write, and type frequently.
•Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
•Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
•Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull occasionally.
•Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
•May work indoors and outdoors as needed.
