Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Generate insightful financial reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
  • Oversee general ledger entries, reconciliations, and maintenance.
  • Review and prepare journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A Team on balance sheet budget and forecasting.
  • Conduct financial analyses, including expense trend analysis, and cost analysis.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial insights to support business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in financial operations.
  • Implement best practices to streamline accounting processes.
  • Mentor and lead a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Must Haves:
  • 4-year degree in accounting plus 3-5 yrs. experience or equivalent years experience
  • Must have strong reconciliation skills.
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Attention to detail.
