Position Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Role Overview:

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for executing the month-end closing procedures in alignment with corporate timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Support the Controller in essential accounting tasks, including inventory assessment, reserve calculations for excess and obsolescence, monthly inventory audits, cycle counting, and coordination of annual physical counts.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process by analyzing results as directed by the Controller.
  • Manage fixed assets by tracking and documenting monthly capital expenditures, ensuring proper capitalization of property, plant, and equipment (PP&E), and monitoring capital expenditures for cash flow management by project.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by proactively identifying and implementing enhancements to workpapers and processes, focusing on minimizing inefficiencies while boosting accuracy, integrity, and productivity.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in month-end closing procedures.
  • Proficient in monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory valuation.
  • Experience with reserve calculations for excess and obsolescence.
  • Competence in fixed asset management.
  • Ability to track and record capital expenditures effectively.
