Job DescriptionSaint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our team. You will conduct professional patient interviews, obtaining demographic, financial, and biographical information. This position is responsible for the delivery of quality performance and service excellence. Shift Details: PRN- days, evening, nights, and weekend shiftsResponsibilities: Understands insurance terminologyObtains information to appropriately bill payorsVerifies patient insurance eligibilityConfirms benefits eligibilityGather statistical information in compliance with federal and state regulationsCompletes payment transactions by using proper negotiating techniques to professional collect money owed by our Patients and GuarantorsMakes referrals to appropriate financial resources, such as payment plans and lines of creditWe are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and has a positive attitude.
