Technical Account Manager, Software and Solutions

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to be part of a team leading our software and solutions business with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). We are seeking an experienced high-energy OEM sales professional with a consistent track record of building strategic relationships, developing, and driving go-to-market strategies through large complex organizations. This position requires close working relationships with HPE and NVIDIA solution architects, product marketing, and key ISV’s, to help drive NVIDIA and HPE’s AI solutions through their channel and into target markets. This role requires a proven understanding of enterprise market including on premise and hybrid cloud as well as virtualized, containerize, or bare-metal infrastructure. The role is based in Houston Texas.
What You Will Be Doing
Work closely with HPE's Global Business Units (GBU) across Compute, HPC&AI, Telco, Storage, GreenLake and Advisory and professional services to scale NVIDIAs software business
Develop deep working partnerships with Product Management, Marketing, Alliances, Category Management, AI sales specialists and Go-to-Market teams across HPE GBUs
Build deep subject matter expertise on HPE's AI/HPC software, HPE GreenLake private cloud enterprise and service offerings.
Develop broad understanding of NVIDIA software portfolio, industry vertical alignment and go to market strategies.
Find opportunities to integrate NVIDIA software offerings with HPE crafting differentiated software stacks, unique value propositions and effective co-selling motion for our joint customers.
Implement NVIDIA’s cloud first vision by partnering with HPE GreenLake building full stack cloud services for prioritized verticals and use cases. Expand NVIDIA software footprint in GreenLake marketplace, build pay as you go business models enabling cloud like consumption.
Build sales plays with corresponding incentive programs to engage HPE sellers to position NVIDIA solutions and activate lighthouse customers to broaden market reach.
Collaborate with HPE to build thought leadership for our joint solutions by participating actively in industry and customer events.
What We Need To See
8+ years of proven success with software partner alliance management.
Specific experience and relationships with OEMs.
Demonstrate clear understanding of software sales.
Good grasp of cloud consumption models and positioning for on-prem, cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
A strong interest in understanding new technologies and adept at conveying their value to business executives and software development leaders.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to use simple communication that conveys sophisticated concepts.
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or business or equivalent experience.
Proven track record building and leading a matrix-managed team.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
Understanding of data science workflows, machine learning, and AI trends.
Experience working with ISVs and System Integrators to accelerate solution deployment.
Knowledge of cloud native environments such as Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, etc. & proven track record building solutions in partnership with ISV ecosystem.
A passion for getting things done in a sales and technology environment.
Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically, act independently, and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal)

The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 270,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits . NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
