SummaryThe Creative Director drives AMSURG's brand vision and creative strategies across all platforms. This leadership role is responsible for managing the creative process from concept to completion, translating marketing objectives into clear creative strategies, and leading a design team in producing branding materials and digital content. The ideal candidate will excel in vendor management and be adept at lifting the brand's profile innovatively.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities• Develop innovative brand management strategies to elevate AMSURG's market position and deepen target audience engagement.• Develop a creative strategy around how to best market the AMSURG brand and subsidiary brands

• Ensure brand consistency by supervising style guides, branding strategies, and creative standards• Lead the conceptualization and implementation of creative strategies to enhance brand visibility and influence across various media platforms.• Oversee the creative lifecycle of promotional campaigns, from initial ideation through final execution, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives.• Manage and mentor a team of graphic designers, copywriters, and other creative staff, fostering a collaborative, productive, and dynamic work environment.• Utilize leadership skills to develop and mentor designers, videographers and writers to be best in class via timely, effective feedback while identifying and developing talent, fostering a culture of creative excellence and a collaborative spirit• Conduct performance reviews and set clear goals for professional growth and project outcomes.• Maintain strong relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality outputs and timely delivery of creative materials.• Collaborate effectively as a creative partner and brand consultant with internal business leads, Marketing team, product management, and outside agencies/partners• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including physician liaisons, regional marketing, communications, and digital, to ensure a cohesive brand experience.• Oversee multiple projects from conception through completion, addressing any issues and adjusting scopes as necessary.• Utilize analytics to measure the effectiveness of creative outputs and pivot strategies as required.

Experience/Capabilities• Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar creative role in a corporate or agency setting.• Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.• Proven ability to develop designers, writers and video producers from a creative aspect• Prior experience in managing a multidisciplinary team of creatives.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for leading a team and collaborating with other departments.• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.• Capable of strategic thinking and problem-solving within a fast-paced business environment.

Education/Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in art, Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.• A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.• A minimum of 8 years of related work experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Physical Demands• Engage in various physical activities occasionally, such as standing, walking, and prolonged sitting.• Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and fine motor skills.• Execute tasks that involve reaching, climbing, balancing, and adopting postures like stooping and kneeling.• Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds and repetitive upper body motion, especially for computer use.• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and focus adjustment.
