Key Responsibilities:
  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial phone screens
    • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates and hiring managers
    • Prepare and send offer letters and employment contracts
    • Facilitate the onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
    • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
    • Support employee engagement initiatives and events
  3. HR Administration:
    • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
    • Prepare and process HR-related documentation, such as employment verifications and status changes
    • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  4. Performance Management:
    • Assist in the coordination of performance appraisal processes
    • Track and monitor employee performance reviews and follow up on any outstanding reviews
  5. Training and Development:
    • Support the coordination of training programs and workshops
    • Maintain training records and track employee participation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a coordinator or generalist capacity
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
