Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IVR Developer with expertise in Genesys Pure Cloud Development and a proven track record of successful cloud migrations. As a Senior IVR Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions to enhance our software systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based software solutions using Genesys Pure Cloud Development tools and frameworks.
Lead and actively participate in the migration process from Genesys Pure Connect (on-premise) to Genesys Pure Connect (cloud) platform, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software architects, project managers, and quality assurance engineers, to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high code quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner, working closely with the support and operations teams to deliver efficient solutions.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud development and continuously assess and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Extensive experience in Genesys Pure Cloud Development, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.
Proven experience in successfully migrating from Genesys Pure Connect (on-premise) to Genesys Pure Connect (cloud) platform.
Proficiency in Java and API development, with a deep understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Familiarity with Cobol, DB2, and SQL, with the ability to work with legacy systems and databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Haves:

Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Understanding of software security principles and best practices.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
