Apply now The Parts Driver is responsible for selecting, verifying, and delivering parts to customers and/or other dealerships in the general prescribed market area of the local parts departments. Assist all customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. Check with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries. Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors. Pull and fill orders from stock, as directed. Ensure that parts to be delivered match the invoice and verify that the invoice matches the PO (purchase order) for each pick-up. Secure and unload parts truck each night. Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts. Maintain a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork and delivery schedule. Must be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds. Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent experience is a plus but not required. Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test).
