**Essential Functions for FPGA Design/Architect Engineer:**

+ Lead Digital & Firmware development from architecture, component selection, design, verification/validation to implantation & production ramp.

+ Design and implement digital circuits using Verilog or VHDL.

+ Develop and optimize FPGA-based solutions for specific applications.

+ Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems.Stay up-to-date with the latest embedded high-speed systems technologies and industry trends.

**Minimum** **Qualifications for** **FPGA Design/Architect Engineer** **:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience.

+ Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals.

+ Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL.

+ Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx, Altera, Vivado or Intel Quartus.

+ Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) and/or embedded systems is a plus.

+ Knowledge new standards - SOSA

+ Experienced with complex circuit board design process.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

+ **Eligibility Requirement:** This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

**Working Conditions:**

+ Standard office environment

+ Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail

+ Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE

+ May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes

+ Standing: 10% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task
