Role OverviewAs the System Architect for NAND Subsystem Engineering, you will report directly to the Senior Director of NAND Subsystem Engineering. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the architectural design of NAND Subsystems.
Your role will involve collaborating with global cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive NAND subsystem solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the central liaison among various teams, including NAND Device, Memory System, Firmware Development, and Validation.
- Conducting research on the latest advancements in firmware architecture design and testing methodologies.
- Drafting architecture and design specifications, establishing testing criteria, and ensuring firmware quality through thorough analysis of system and firmware behavior.
- Defining and characterizing the aspects of NAND Subsystem projects from conception through to release.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Storage Device engineering, or a Master's Degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- A decade or more of experience in NAND-related firmware design and development is essential.
- At least 7 years of experience in a functional leadership, technology development, or system architect role is required.
- Expertise in ONFI NAND interface hardware and firmware, along with a comprehensive understanding of NAND commands and sequences at both transport and hardware levels.
- Deep knowledge of NAND operations is necessary.
- Experience with bus analyzers and oscilloscopes is required.
- Preferred experience in ROM and boot design and implementation.
- A strong background in collaborating with international teams across diverse cultures is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours due to global collaboration is required.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating intellectual rigor.
- Strong business acumen, influencing skills, and the ability to derive insights that impact processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective written and verbal communication, particularly with executive management.
- Highly motivated with proven leadership skills, capable of guiding high-performance teams and inspiring excellence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with Enterprise Financial Planning Systems.

Compensation & Benefits Overview
