- Author and approve SDS for the site, as necessary.
- Acts as liaison for EHS&S activities within the organization and support all other departments/locations in the business as needed.
- Track all EHS&S metrics and report out to business units.
- Support track and maintain behavior base safety programs.
- Maintains facility records in accordance with OSHA/EPA/DOT/FRA regulations.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and Responsible Care
- Maintains the industrial hygiene program site(s) programs.
- Completes all training assignments as required.
- Complies with all safety and environmental objectives/programs/policies of the facility.
- Maintain regulatory compliance requirements and permits as needed.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and audit nonconformances.
- Conduct site regulatory inspections.
- Support and maintain contractor pre-qualification program
- Review new chemicals and maintain Cremer NA product safety data sheets.
- Understand and maintain Process Safety Management requirements applicable to RC14001.
- Participate in management of change (MOC) processes; and promote continual improvement.
- Support efforts to implement and maintain the RC14001/EHS&S management system.
- Conform with the EHS&S Policy and the Cardinal Rules.
- Maintain a safe and secure workplace and meet environmental site requirements.
- Complete all required training assignments
- Adhere to all site environmental, health, safety, and security requirements, local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain hazardous waste in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Follow all RC14001 guiding principles, policies, procedures, and other requirements.
- Complete other duties as assigned
- We will follow the company's written training program for this position.
- Maintain a safe, legal, and environmentally protective operation.
- Listen to our customers, suppliers, and employees.
- Respond quickly to customer concerns.
- Follow set guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality, and food safety requirements.
- Maintain training on applicable procedures in quality, GMP, and food safety.
- Report any food safety, security, and / or quality issues to management or the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) team to initiate action.
- Provide flexible and innovative strategies to support new business opportunities.
- Be cost effective in the utilization of our resources, thereby contributing to the profitability of Cremer North America, LP and our customers.
