Reporting directly to the Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) Manager, the EHS&S Technician plays a crucial role in assisting facility personnel with health, safety, and environmental initiatives.

This position will collaborate closely with the Bottling Plant Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of safety experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment

Pursuing a degree or certification in safety is advantageous

Self-driven and a collaborative team member

Strong oral and written communication and training capabilities

Experience with FDA and GMP is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Solid grasp of basic mathematical principles

Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.

Capability to navigate steps and ladders

Ability to engage with employees across all organizational levels

Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs

Attention to detail is essential

Demonstrated ownership and accountability skills

PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS
Support all departments in achieving the overall goals of the plant.

Author and approve Safety Data Sheets (SDS) as required.

Act as a liaison for EHS&S activities within the organization and assist other departments/locations as necessary.

Monitor all EHS&S metrics and report to business units.

Support and maintain behavior-based safety programs.

Keep facility records in compliance with OSHA/EPA/DOT/FRA regulations.

Familiarity with ISO 14001 and Responsible Care standards

Oversee the industrial hygiene program at the site.

Complete all required training assignments.

Adhere to all safety and environmental objectives/programs/policies of the facility.

Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and permits as necessary.

Investigate accidents and incidents and audit nonconformities.

Conduct site regulatory inspections.

Support and uphold the contractor pre-qualification program.

Review new chemicals and maintain product safety data sheets.

Understand and uphold Process Safety Management requirements relevant to RC14001.

Engage in management of change (MOC) processes and promote continuous improvement.

Assist in implementing and maintaining the RC14001/EHS&S management system.

Comply with the EHS&S Policy and Cardinal Rules.

Ensure a safe and secure workplace while meeting environmental site requirements.

Complete all necessary training assignments.

Adhere to all site environmental, health, safety, and security requirements, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Manage hazardous waste in accordance with all applicable regulations.

Follow all guiding principles, policies, procedures, and other requirements of RC14001.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Cremer Training Required:
