As a member of this team, you will play a key role in the aggregation, validation, modelling and reporting of AXA XL's exposure to catastrophe risks. You will be responsible for periodic aggregation and reporting of AXA XL exposure to natural/manmade perils as part of business and group reporting initiatives. Your key focus areas will be to assist and support the Risk Management and underwriting teams in effective and successful monitoring of risks against natural/ manmade perils. You will play a key role in enhancing the quality and consistency of underlying data, processes, and capabilities. You are expected to be a solid individual contributor with a demonstrated ability to participate and collaborate in intra/inter-team projects and activities. You will also be responsible for supporting colleagues in underwriting support, enterprise-shared services, and other related departments to have a consistent view of data across the various enterprise-wide risk modelling and management platforms. Head of Energy, Property, and Construction Catastrophe Risk. We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: ·

Sound hands-on experience in catastrophe risk modelling, risk aggregation and reporting activities.

·

Demonstrated ability in analysis and reporting of portfolio catastrophe risk, business, and regulatory reporting.

·

Demonstrated ability to organize and analyze data and communicate the insights effectively.

·

Demonstrate experience in data analysis and reporting initiatives focused on enhancing data quality, processes, and reporting capabilities.

·

Results-oriented and collaborative team player.

·

Effective communication skills including the ability to explain complex problems and communicate proposals for improvements. Desired Skills and Abilities: ·

Ability to multitask and manage complex activities.

·

Effective knowledge and hands-on experience of MS SQL, Access, and Excel applications.

·

Solid understanding of key insurance product offerings, underwriting, (re)insurance concepts

and (in)reinsurance business processes.

·

Exposure and experience in advanced EXCEL functionalities (Macros/ VBA coding) and process automation initiatives are desirable.

·

Understanding of all enterprise risk management principles, and achievement of relevant industry certifications is a plus.

·

Catastrophe risk modelling and reporting for (in)reinsurance operations.

·

Catastrophe risk aggregation and risk management.

·

Experience/exposure in insurance underwriting support.

·
