Accounting Manager

opportunity. They are looking to add a key player to their office as they continue to grow and expand. Responsibilities: Oversees and assists in the preparation and review of service company and corporate holdings level financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Responsible for a full understanding of all of the above financial statements and will be the primary associate to answer questions on all items contained in those statements. Oversees daily activities of the corporate accounting department. Review monthly reconciliations and workbooks prepared by senior and staff accountants. Assists Controller with consolidated financials, footnotes, and other schedules needed Assists with analyzing new GAAP rules and assessing impact on the company. Assists with writing new policies and procedures regarding new GAAP rules. Maintains, evaluates, and suggests additional enhancements to current policies around accounting processes. Oversees the preparation of non-routine accounting transactions or reporting functions. Leads the development of associates in the department which includes day-to-day mentoring and teaching the team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferred. CPA or Advanced Accounting Degree, preferred. Big 4 or public accounting experience a plus. 7+ years of accounting experience

including real estate entities
