Overview:
Our valued client, a leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, and extensive experience in general ledger (GL) accounting and inventory management.

Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Accounting:
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.

- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory accounting, including costing, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Analyze and report on inventory variances and trends.

- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

- Account Reconciliation:
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

- Manufacturing Accounting:
- Apply accounting principles and practices to the manufacturing environment.
- Analyze production costs and variances.
- Support costing and pricing strategies.

- Microsoft Dynamics:
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics for financial transactions, reporting, and analysis.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data within the system.

- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics (preferably Dynamics 365).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Experience with GL accounting and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
