In this role, you'll:
  • Administers office supply orders daily and enters weekly orders for payment by A/P.
  • Reviews purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness against all Procurement Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Prepares and issues purchase orders and change orders for all items and services used by The Blood Center.
  • Maintains records related to Purchase Orders and Receivers.
  • Resolves all invoicing issues related to purchase orders with Accounts Payable.
  • Contacts suppliers regarding return of materials and assure that appropriate credit is received for those materials.
  • Performs monthly p-card download and reconciliation and reports issues with card holders to management.
  • Serves as user p-card administrator for setting passwords and training of new users in the use of the p-card software.
  • Maintains supplier folders; including critical supplier folders.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
We need someone who has:
  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school in any business discipline (Accounting, Management, Marketing, etc.); or six months related experience and/or training in purchasing/order expediting, inventory management, general ledger entry, accounts payable, or p-card administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer literate (Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access)
  • Accounting and/or perpetual inventory software is preferred
