Exercise, communicate, and document progressive discipline measures as necessary in accordance with the Libraries' standard policies.As Stacks Management lead on the Supervisors of Access Services Student Employees (SASSE) team, collaborate with student supervisors across other Access Services functional units to coordinate student schedule, mutual support and cross-training efforts.Coordinate and supervise work of student staff in the receipt, sorting, and distribution of returned and/or newly acquired materials and the re-shelving of materials to appropriate locations in collaboration with co-workers. Update status of missing materials sweeps and pick up of un-shelved library materials in public areas of the Du Bois Library and record in-house use. Ensure that Du Bois library collections are maintained in proper classification order.Provide information service to patrons and staff as needed, including but not limited to borrowing and lending assistance. Use a high degree of independent judgment in responding thoroughly and accurately to questions received in person, by phone, and online.
