The Retailer Development Analyst works closely with the Vice President, Retailer Development supporting all aspects of individual retailer (retail dealerships) planning and Retailer Development activities. This position works in close collaboration with all Subaru of New England (SNE) internal departments, as well as Subaru of America's (SOA) Retailer Development team to ensure all aspects of the retailer relationship and agreements are met at the highest level of performance. An outward facing position, the Retailer Development Analyst is an integral part of SNE’s overall performance and success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

include, but are not limited to the following:

DEALER AGREEMENTS and STANDARD PROVISION Manage Subaru Dealership Agreements Draft amendments to Subaru Agreements, as necessary Manages Agreement renewal process BUY-SELLS Screens and qualifies new Retailer/buy-sell applicants based on automotive performance including sales, penetration, CSI and financial capabilities Completes Market Studies to ensure viability of open points and to determine where future representation should be considered Ensures compliance with statutory notification requirements (in conjunction with SNE counsel) relative to new Retailer appointments, buy-sells and relocations Launches new retailers and ensures the retailer understands Subaru programs SUBARU SIGNATURE FACILITY PROGRAM Ensures Subaru brand compliance with a retailer's facility and signage. Monitors “SIGN PROGRAM” to ensure all SNE dealers comply with Subaru national identification program Monitors Signature Facility program and ensures all SNE Retailers participate Follows up with Retailers on dealer upgrade activities such as facility expansions, land acquisitions, and relocations Reviews and evaluates new Retailer sites, facility proposals and plans for feasibility to ensure compliance with minimum standards ELECTRIC VEHICLE INTEGRATION Assist retailers with meeting demands associated with the rollout of multiple new EV models including impacts to retailers’ infrastructure plus sales, parts and service department operations Works with SOA and SNE’s Electric Vehicle personnel to ascertain on-going EV product and support information Acts as liaison to SNE’s EV assessment vendor to facilitate upcoming retailer power capacity/equipment needs RETAILER PERFORMANCE Works with the district teams to improve the financial results at loss and low profit/low return retailers. Tracks action items and ensures the district team is following up on the retailer commitments Monitors and reports on dealer sales performance GENERAL Completes analyses and any other specific assignments (e.g., market trends, dealership performance analyses, facility analyses) Supervises, reviews and updates to minimum standards for capital, personnel, and facility as established by SOA Ensures Retailers and SNE personnel are provided with current copies of minimum standards Maintains dealership identification records and ensures Retailers comply with standard identification requirements

QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of five years relevant automotive experience Proven expertise in the ability to review, interpret and analyze retailer financial statements and records to make appropriate recommendations to retailer and/or management Excellent organization and time management skills, highly successful at handling multiple priorities Exceptional Communication skills: must be able to expertly present to an audience in person and on paper, effectively listen and recognize the value of others perceptions Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills Outstanding Customer Focus Skills; customer first, ethical, positive/productive relationships Excellent at managing and adapting to change College Degree preferred New England travel required
