At Chapman Las Vegas Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, we have simplified the car buying process by offering multiple ways to shop, catering to each customer's shopping preference, whether in person, online or over the phone. We are searching for Business Development Representatives to join our dynamic team, to provide our customers with exception sales support before the customer ever sets foot in the dealership. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, organized and results-oriented. This role collaborates with the Internet Sales team and reports to the Internet Director.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Generating business by responding to customer inquiries online and over the phone, seeking out potential sales leads, and scheduling showroom appointments for demonstrations and test drives
  • Identifying customer needs and preferences, then providing initial product information and directing them to the appropriate dealership resources
  • Establishing positive client relationships and following up with potential clients that are not ready to make an appointment
  • Log all lead activity in the CRM tracking system daily
  • Participate in team and process development sessions, keeping positive relationships with teammates, sales teams and dealership management
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
  • 1 year of dealership business development (BDC) experience is required; telemarketing experience is a plus
  • Outgoing, friendly and customer- oriented, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills over the phone
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Basic computer skills including typing and using Microsoft Outlook are essential; experience working with CRMs is a plus
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and achievement driven
  • Experience meeting performance goals or quotas is helpful
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Hours and Work Environment

We are open Monday - Saturday 8am to 9pm. We ask that all applicants have the availability to work all shifts including evenings and Saturdays. We support work-life balance offering 2 days off per week, including Sundays. This is an in-office position that requires working interacting with sales leads online and over the phone the majority of your shift.
