Nursing Assistant, Per Diem Days 2W2H Med Surg NMC

Essential Function/ Responsibilities:
+ Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
+ Assisting patients with daily activities including bathing, feeding and dressing
+ Measuring and recording vital signs
+ Administering basic treatments
+ Helping to ensure a safe care environment
+ Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
+ Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
+ Good communication skills
+ Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
Minimum Education:
+ High School diploma or GED is required
+ BLS required
Minimum Experience:
+ Minimum of one year Nursing Assistant experience in an Acute Care setting or one year of nursing school completed preferred.
License/Certification:
+ Nursing Assistant certification preferred
