Cognitus seeks an LMS Consultant to join our team remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough needs analysis with stakeholders to determine LMS requirements.
- Design, configure, and implement LMS solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients.
- Provide training and support to educators and administrators on how to effectively use the LMS.
- Stay up to date with the latest LMS features and industry trends, ensuring our solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including system configurations, training materials, and best practices.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of the LMS with other software tools.
- Conduct periodic assessments and provide recommendations for system enhancements.
- Manage user roles, security, and data integrity within the LMS environment.
- Offer ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in educational technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in LMS administration, training, or consultancy.
- Strong understanding of e-learning standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with popular LMS platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, or others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in a higher education or corporate training environment.
- Certifications related to project management or specific LMS platforms.
