About the Position

The Senior Financial Analyst has responsibility to reforecast, budget and create meaningful and timely analyses to improve the business. This role will be relied on to support business strategies, provide input on financial processes and highlight risks and opportunities. The Senior Financial Analyst will develop financial analysis, collect, and evaluate data, make appropriate assumptions and provide recommendations to support business decisions.

A day in the life...

  • Play a key role in the reforecasting process which includes, working with the Finance team and other departments to ensure information will be received when needed and understanding the total company outlook for sales, margin and PBT.
  • Play a significant role in the company's annual budgeting process by working with budget center managers and/or cross functionally to collect and consolidate pertinent information used to budget and taking full ownership of specific budgets centers by driving the process from beginning to end.
  • Influence the total company budget by understanding target metrics and working with other leaders in the company to achieve them.
  • Understand business drivers and communicate them in a way that leads to change that improves the health of the business.
  • Understand external trends and their impact on the business with added focus on competitors, macro environment and trends that relate to Lilly Pulitzer.
  • Fixed asset management and reforecasting
  • Prepare pro forma statements and projections for future market conditions for potential retail store expansion, rent agreements or closing strategies; perform market research to verify economic assumptions used in pro formas
  • Update financial models with actual data to evaluate financial performance of existing investments
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with budget center managers and other key partners to understand their business; help budget center managers manage their businesses more effectively.

Qualifications for the Position
  • A four-year college degree is required, preferably with a major/minor within Finance.
  • 4-6 years of financial planning and analysis experience, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
  • The maturity to deal with sensitive information professionally.
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to consistently generate a high-quality work output.
  • Demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity that translates into new approaches to business issues.
  • The ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel.
  • SAP and BPC experience a plus.

  • This position is classified as full-time salaried; it is exempt and is not eligible for overtime. This position is eligible for standard company benefits.
  • This position is required to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Office as well as your Home Office will be determined by your supervisor.
  • The position requires some domestic travel.
  • Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.
  • This position is expected to collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with our Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
