Job Summary

SpecialtyCare is expanding our FP&A team and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our talented group of financial professionals This role is responsible for preparing analysis and financial models for existing and new business as well as making recommendations around pricing strategies to secure and grow accounts. You will work directly with Operational leadership on strategies to improve profitability of markets, improve staffing efficiencies, and identify cost reduction opportunities as well as provide monthly analysis of performance to budgetary targets and prior year. This is a hybrid opportunity at our corporate office in Brentwood, TN
  • Provide all financial support for contract renegotiations and repricings for any assigned hospitals on an as needed basis including:
    • Provide financial history (where available) that includes contribution margin, procedure counts, equipment listings, sales analysis and staffing estimates.
    • Complete "first pass" of the financial projection model based on historical information.
    • Work with key negotiator to develop pricing strategy and forecast financial outcomes based on pricing and cost assumptions.
    • Work with key negotiator and contract administrator to ensure contract reflects SpecialtyCare's pricing strategy.
    • Recommend and suggest improvements in pricing, staffing, use of materials, etc that would drive company wide financial improvement.
  • Perform monthly operational reviews with key negotiators to identify the key drivers of variances in financials as compared to budget and prior year.
  • Provide financial analysis support for senior leadership.
  • Perform ad hoc corporate statistical and financial analysis as required by management.
  • Work directly with Business Development and Operational Leadership to develop financial models and determine appropriate pricing for new business opportunities.
  • Provide Contracts department with finalized pricing exhibits.
  • Demonstrate a broader understanding of SpecialtyCare service offerings and provide more in depth and strategically focused analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain a rolling forecast for assigned areas of responsibility and assist in the annual budget preparation for those areas.
  • Ability to work independently, manage and prioritize a demanding workload, and effectively communicate with all levels of management and corporate leadership.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience:
• Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience.
• Experience working with PeopleSoft, helpful.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience, acceptable.
