The role of Amazon Fresh is to provide fast (2 -6 hour) and reliable delivery for selection that customers need, or want, fast. Customers find their daily grocery essentials, fresh produce, home and Kitchen needs, and more on Amazon Fresh. ‘Hybrid Stores’ within Amazon Fresh refers to physical retail stores with a set of hybrid features to serve online customers. The program is highly cross-functional in nature, involves managing strategic partnerships, operations intensive, and requires a number of India-first solutions to be created.

We are looking for an experienced Category Manager who thrives in Thinking big. You will be working in the future, helping to manage and shape new processes and product solve that extend and define customer experience. As a Senior Category Manager, you should possess a strong customer focus, great retail instincts, and be practiced at applying retail basics for a 3P seller. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous and fast-paced business environment, operating across multiple teams and levels. You should excel at unconstrained thinking and have the ability to document and support your ideas to gain broad buy-in and consensus. You should also not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty by diving into a customer inputs. You are a strong leader who is analytical, can prioritize well in ambiguity, and communicate clearly and compellingly to internal and external strategic leadership level.

As a Category Manager, you will: • Become a subject matter aspect of current grocery operations from seller's physical stores • Continuously benchmark with other 3P sellers to identify the right grocery selection that can be offered online from a physical stores • Prioritize projects and software feature requests, evaluate and set stakeholder expectations • Work closely with product teams to deliver features which are customer-focused, scale able, auditable and iteratively developed • Manage the implementation of new ideas and processes related to online operation from physical stores impacting Customer experience. • Create reports and metrics to demonstrate progress towards goals, provide new insights, and regularly update senior leadership. • Actively seek feedback from key stakeholders, including field leadership, to drive continuous improvement. • Be a visible and vocal role model across the wider business for Amazon’s customer-centric culture, championing Seller’s needs and using data and technology to anticipate and exceed them.

A successful candidate will also demonstrate: • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired • Analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases • Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others • Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape

Key job responsibilities 1. Drive growth in Fresh network by obsessing on selection and instock 2. Drive operational efficiency in existing process and benchmark with industry to build a world class Fresh Service 3. Work backwards from the customer to identify customer trends and build product/process solves in order to address the customer need
