Escrow Manager

Description Meridian Title is one of the nation's largest independent title agencies with over 80 years of experience in providing title insurance coverage, escrow closings, and real estate related services. We're looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team of title and escrow experts. Our latest opportunity is for an Escrow Manager in Fort Wayne, Indiana. What you'll do: Staff and supervise escrow closing department across 3 Fort Wayne locations. Occasionally close complex and/or large premium escrows at customer and/or management request. Assist closing staff in performing a variety of escrow closing activities to obtain new customers and to maintain existing customers. Consult with title personnel and/or appropriate counsel on unusual or complex requests. Regularly review quality and quantity of work and spot check and/or audit complete escrow files to ensure adherence to customer requests as well as company policies and procedures. Regularly meet with title and sales staff to ensure open communication of customer needs and services. Continuously develop the knowledge and technical skills of staff by conducting and/or arranging special training classes. Monitor goals and progress of individual employees, encourage professional growth, solicit suggestions, and assist with problem-solving. Valid motor vehicle license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance. State notary certificate and an active limited license for title insurance from the State.
