Program Coordinator Behavioral Health Respite Care Capacity Building Initiative Ohio Childrens Alliance is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to launch and manage a new initiative focused on expanding behavioral health respite capacity across three regions in Ohio. About Ohio Childrens Alliance Through advocacy, innovation, and collaboration, the Alliance fosters a brighter future for Ohios children and families by partnering with health and human services organizations. Position Overview This full?time, hybrid role reports to the Behavioral Health Services Program Manager and requires regular travel to the Logan?Champaign, Belmont?Harrison?Monroe, and Paint Valley regions. The Coordinator will coordinate multi?stakeholder engagement, technical assistance, data analysis, and outreach to build sustainable respite care services for youth with behavioral health needs. Key Responsibilities Program Coordination: Oversee implementation across three regions, manage work plans, budgets, timelines, milestones, and program benchmarks. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Partner with regional liaisons, community agencies, higher education institutions, and families to develop and align capacity?building strategies. Awareness & Outreach: Plan and execute regional awareness events and campaigns, and develop and disseminate respite care best?practice toolkits. Technical Assistance & Capacity Building: Provide regional technical assistance to higher education institutions and behavioral health agencies, and support workforce development and provider recruitment. Data, Evaluation & Quality Improvement: Coordinate data collection, track key indicators, and support continuous quality improvement through analysis and strategy adjustment. External Representation & Development: Represent the Alliance at community events, committees, and policy development opportunities to support program growth and resource development. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Social Work, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field. Project management or program coordination experience. Minimum three years of professional experience in social services, health care, business administration, or related field. Commitment to advancing equity and strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, resourceful, proactive, and strong time?management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent deadlines. Ability to collaborate with multiple teams, knowledge of community engagement strategies, and strong customer service orientation. Willingness to travel regularly across all three regions and to participate in program education and awareness opportunities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Copilot). Preferred Experience in behavioral health respite care, child welfare, or behavioral health systems. Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and developing training materials.
