Enrollment Specialist

The Enrollment Specialists reviews inquiries and enrollment paperwork to complete a member add, termination or change. Updates must be completed accurately and within established service level agreements.

Responsibilities

•Reviews submitted enrollment requests assigned via the enrollment queues.

•Processes according to established productivity goals while maintaining established quality goals.

•Takes initiative to check questions or unusual situations with management in accordance with established guidelines.

•Ensures thorough and timely completion of requests for additions, changes and terminations to subscriber and dependent records.

•Notifies the Supervisor of trends that will impact internal and external customers.

•Adheres to "It Starts With You" Departmental Policy.

•Must be able to work required extra hours as dictated by business needs.

•Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

•High School Diploma or College Degree preferred

Experience

•Minimum 3 years of experience in the health insurance industry, with a combined focus on production and quality. College degree in lieu of experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

•Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with others and have a willingness to be a team player.

•Demonstrated ability to communicate via email.

•Familiarity with data processing and the ability to work with documented policies and procedures.

•ECS, INSINQ, One Hub, Excel, Word, Sharepoint, Ayava or a system that logs productivity.
