GridIron IT is seeking a Senior Program Manager local to Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Ability to obtain Security Clearance required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for managing performance of contract ensuring all performance work statement requirements are met.
  • Supervises contractor staff including time sheet approval.
  • Provides communication to management to review project plans, status reports, and deliverables.
  • Develops overall project milestones and monitors the execution of the project against planned timelines.
  • Directs and reviews program plans, status reports, and deliverables with program director and project teams.
  • Provides technical and functional management to one or more project teams for specific projects or sub-tasks.
Required (Minimum) Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years experience as a Program Manager or Product Manager/Product Owner delivering and sustaining IT systems/applications.
  • Three (3) years experience implementing Agile methodology.
  • Bachelors degree in in Engineering, Computer Science, Program Management, or related field.
  • Must be able to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiry, requires U.S. citizenship.

  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to gather and generate requirements for product evolution based on market analysis and end user (or internal team) interactions.
  • Ability to lead in communicating project readiness.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and manage key challenges and risks of a given product.
  • Ability to analyze data to make decisions and comfortable gathering it yourself.
  • Ability to cut to the core of a problem, identify what needs to be done and work with the teams to get products launched.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and maintain relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders and partners.

Masters Degree
Applicable Agile certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.
