****About the Role****

Our operations team is growing and we are looking for simulation drivers to operate our test vehicles and collect data on our AM shift (6:00am to 2:30pm) or PM shift (2:00pm to 10:30pm). You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our talented robotics and software engineers to help advance our technologies and ultimately our future product roadmap.

****About the Work****

* Safely operate Nuro test vehicles as equipped for typical drivers up to 8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week on public residential roads in various weather conditions

* In addition to driving, you will also ride as a passenger in our vehicles and record significant observations in a clear manner

* Collect data and troubleshoot in a variety of real world situations, while providing detailed and accurate feedback to our engineers

* Conduct daily vehicle pre-inspections prior to leaving facility

****About You****

* You possess a valid US driver's license with 3+ years of driving experience

* You have a clean driving record and pass a criminal background check

* You are available to work consistently through the weekend

* You are responsible, dependable and have an acute attention to detail

* You are able to work independently or in small groups and for periods without direct supervision

* You are able to sit and drive for long periods of time with regular breaks

* You have a passion and interest in new technology and a customer-service oriented attitude

* You have the flexibility and willingness to occasionally work different shifts (AM, PM, weekend) as needed

* You have a willingness to travel domestically as needed (up to 25%)

* Data entry and fast typing skills will be useful
