This team member is responsible for day-to-day support within the CNC department. Our Culture is Contagious Come grow with us and be part of the TFT Proud Culture Be a part of saving lives and protecting property by putting life-saving products in the hands of our first responders View our video - TFT, a Firefighter Legacy KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Operate CNC machines and ensure parts comply with specifications and quality standards. Read, interpret, and make practical application of blueprints, including determining which tool makes each cut on parts. Read and interpret measurements of parts using various precision instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Loads/unload parts and bar feeder on CNC machine, including unlocking, opening, loading, feeding, closing, relocking, and starting machine. Physical requirements of the position involve close vision, hearing, standing/walking for long periods, light to moderate lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling objects. QUALIFICATIONS 2- 5 years' experience operating CNC machinery preferred Good understanding of CNC control functions and ability to use precision measuring instruments. Must be able to work afternoon (3PM-11PM) or midnight shift (11PM-7AM) - Must be flexible to work another shift if needed. Strong mechanical aptitude. Mechanical Aptitude assessment and CNC Operator Test will be given. Detail oriented with a safety-first attitude. Can DO attitude and Self-Motivated. Have GRIT with Integrity.
