Overview:

We are currently seeking a Client Services Specialist. The Client Services Specialist will under supervision, provide service and portfolio support to Business Relationship Managers, Specialty Deposit Team Manager and other stakeholders. The Client Services Specialist will build relationship with clients to enhance client experience, manage and support client on their accounts, portfolios and other product services. This position requires multi-tasking skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Business Relationship Managers with the new account opening process through timely and accurate delivery of information required. The process includes coordinating with all business units to collect required documents from clients, be the point of contact for clients to address questions, concerns and provide services as needed
  • Support Business Relationship Managers on sales related tasks, including identifying cross-sale opportunities, assistance with documents preparation, research, pulling reports, following up with and consistently contacting clients and prospects with emails and other correspondence
  • Coordinate Business Relationship Managers and other stakeholders with all business partners to provide accounts maintenance on a daily basis and troubleshooting, etc.
  • Provide superior client service as related to deposit and business loan services, including accurate and efficient preparation and processing of deposit and business loan transactions and maintenance
  • Deepen the relationship with clients through account servicing to potentially expand the deposit portfolio
  • Take ownership of client needs, problems, and requests, following through to ensure timely and accurate resolution, focusing on accuracy, promptness, and client satisfaction
  • Generate and/or complete tracking reports and analyze deposit trends to track deposit
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or related field required
  • 2+ years of customer services experience in Retail Banking or related experiences preferred
  • Familiar with new account opening process and bank account structures
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different type of characters
  • Ability to manage high-volume inquiries in a timely manner
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (mandarin or Cantonese) preferred

Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $26.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
