Position: Financial Planning Analyst

Department: Finance

Job Summary:

Creates, organizes, and disseminates financial, operational, and marketing data to authorized personnel in the format required in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):

  1. Collects all pertinent data to generate the appropriate reports.
  2. Performs financial, operational, and marketing analysis.
  3. Establishes and maintains files and records.
  4. Produces compliance reports as part of the minimum internal control process.
  5. Makes decisions exercising judgment and initiative in accordance with approved procedures and precedents.
  6. Monitors gaming performance through slot, table games, bingo, poker, and sports book analysis.
  7. Analyzes and produces reports measuring key performance indicators.
  8. Participates in meetings with operational departments.
  9. Works to streamline the compilation of source data for use in reporting packages.
  10. Prepares back-up information for departments.
  11. Reviews department reports addressing potential conflicts and/or misinformation.
  12. Produces departmental records and reports with a very high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
  13. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Knowledge of Finance systems and accounting procedures.
  2. Knowledge of IGT Advantage.
  3. Strong knowledge of financial and economic theory with a foundation in statistical analysis.
  4. Ability to write SQL script pulling data from warehouse and using multiple platforms/systems (Infogenesis, V1, etc.)
  5. Strong communication, organizational, planning and time management skills.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software, especially word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
  7. Proficiency with SQL Server Reporting Services or similar report visualization programs preferred. (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.)
  8. Proficiency in data process flow automation preferred (SQL Server Integration Services, Visual Studio, etc.)
  9. Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
  10. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  11. Ability to analyze data, interpret documents and make recommendations.
  12. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
  13. Ability to work under pressure and be detail oriented.
  14. Ability to work in an environment subject to secondary smoke.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field AND two (2) years related experience.
  2. Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  3. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Proficiency with Microsoft SQL.
