Position Summary/Purpose:
The purpose of the GRC Analyst position is to support the Information Security Team in Governance, Risk and Compliance efforts as they relate to GCE and its partners/clients.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
  • Works in email/teams chats to resolve GRC inquiries from personnel.
  • Reviews and approves or rejects New Software/Vendor Requests using GRC Vendor Templates.
  • Regularly updates the Governance Portal with current Vendors/Software and its most recent risk review date.
  • Familiarizes themselves with current and upcoming GRC Practices/Processes.
  • Works regularly in Change Management system to manage Privacy and/or Software Approval Requests.
  • Additional InfoSec/GRC duties as assigned.
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
  • Microsoft Products (0365/Teams/Office)
  • Laptop/Docking Station
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional ability to organize information and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to emerging technologies with ease.
  • Eagerness to learn evolving GRC principles, Compliance Laws and InfoSec Standards.
  • Superior communication skills through various styles (telephone, text, email, chat, etc.)

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
