Description

SUMMARY: This is a hands-on working position responsible for assisting the Patriots Culinary Services Supervisor in the role of overseeing all dining room Culinary Services and personnel. The Culinary Services Dining Lead Assistant will collaborate with, oversee, and work directly alongside Patriots Culinary Services Dining staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Culinary Services Dining Supervisor with the creation of work schedules for the dining staff, ensuring coverage of all required shifts with the appropriate number of staff to fulfill all service requirements.
  • Assist the Culinary Services Dining Supervisor in overseeing the Culinary Services Attendants and the delivery of exceptional dining services, etiquette, compliance with food safety, sanitation and Team Nutritionist standards, personnel training, payroll control, work assignments, opening and closing duties, and performance monitoring.
  • Identify and report dining room needs to the Culinary Services Dining Supervisor.
  • With the Culinary Services Dining Supervisors approval, submit requisitions through the Inventory and Purchasing System for the Dining Room needs.
  • Work with the Culinary Services Attendants to prepare and maintain the dining room in accordance with strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout meal and break services. This also includes setup and breakdown of the dining room.
  • Communicate with Culinary Services Dining Supervisor on a daily basis to ensure seamless dining room operations and timely reporting of any inventory or personnel issues.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Team Nutritionist on dining room services, service standards, meal times, special request, player specific needs, preparation for peak periods, maintaining proper inventory levels and other dining room needs.
  • Additional responsibilities include cleaning, stocking, inventory counts, ordering, and maintenance.
  • Travel may be required based on Teams operational needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and non-disclosure of Dining Room Operations to include menu details, guests, events, and comply with the no autograph / photo policy.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Patriots Culinary Services Dining Staff.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of experience in high volume catering or full-service dining
  • Knowledge of food service and sanitation standards
  • 2 years serving as a team lead or supervisory experience
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, diffuse personnel issues, work as a team member in a diverse and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support Dining Room operations to include the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to fully commit to all home Football games, peak periods and off-season throughout the year.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and move (push/pull) a minimum of 40 pounds
