Job Title: Server - Renaissance Boston Patriot Place

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at Renaissance Boston Patriot Place, a Colwen Hotels Property. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting.
  • Take orders from guests and deliver to the appropriate person to execute.
  • Answer questions regarding the menu and maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition.
  • Take food and beverage orders and deliver to the kitchen.
  • Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to guests.
  • Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Collect plates and clear tables as guests finish their meal.
  • Adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies.
  • Clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures.
  • Ensure sideboards are adequately stocked.
  • Set tables to standards and that all items are clean and in good repair.
  • Prepare guest checks and collect payment.
  • Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Ability to maintain personal hygiene.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a server preferred.
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotational schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
